... and Creator of the Joy CardTM
A couple dozen years ago, I traded in an urban lifestyle for simpler things, like my own vegetable patch and laundry hung out to dry in the sun, with a move from Boston to southern New Hampshire.
The natural beauty of the area has continued as my muse, a self-taught artist and photographer. In 2006, on the advice of a friend, I read Julia Cameron’s “The Artist’s Way.” The exercises in the book were life-changing, the most significant ones inspiring my return to an earlier love, photography. The launch of my blog has provided a limitless platform for sharing her work with an international audience.
My creative reach extends to writing and the textile arts. In 2010 I received a Master of Fine Arts in nonfiction from Southern New Hampshire University. I am also the author of the niche cookbook, “Eating Clean – 100 Appetizing Solutions Wheat-free & Dairy free”. Geometric and modular knitting in rich jewel-toned yarns are a current fiber focus.
